I’ve got this thing about windmills and lighthouses. They are/where such useful things, grinding crops to make flour for your bread or saving lives shining their lights through the dark warning ships of treacherous rocks  etc. They both stand tall and proud, waiting to nurture or save lives. I have photographed some nice examples of both and found out some great historic facts. I have been driving passed this windmill for years and i have vowed to photograph it, so last week i did. On the Chester High road in largely agricultural land, this windmill has been converted into a family home.
