her indentation a pressure point
to suppress dreams
that did not belong
in the vocabulary of her sleep,
sheets hid insecurities and ideals
naked form foetal curled,
an easy stereotype of an agitated mind,
face creased as much
as cotton pillow cover,
reclusive cave to that
twenty eight year identity
and hide it,
vodka bottle an empty on it’s side,
unable to rise
some piss had escaped
lemon floral bloom
washing microscopic secretions away
drowning them
a noah flood,
some clung
to droplet coated vaginal fur
where other bugs feasted
on what he had left behind
jellied semen being consumed
by eager ticks and bugs
not those that live on deer
roaming a frost bitten forest,
rolling cigarette
finger stubs stuffing tobacco
strands into place,
sat up thinking of the tensions
of the night,
looking at balled up blue panties
god she needed new ones
fabric had small holes
from fingers and eager pulling
to expose that vulnerability
not hers theirs,
sentimental erect rigs of flesh
to drill,
find rich seams of expendable fossil fuels
gasification of the soul
for we are carbon
and can be exhausted as quick,
the restoration of vision from thought
so relentless was her life
in reality could not cope with the debris
it remained as she continued,
bic lighter sputtered for a second
cigarette taste washed with cold dregs
of coffee as mug became ashtray,
inhaling
toilet flushed in other room
the drench of his fecal smell
filled the room before he left
a sour note
yet one she accepted,
she was a historical condition
and redemption would not come
with glowing analysis
finding place in biological and physical realms
and stepping away
from a climate of
frustration

5:52am she woke me up
not properly,
enough for a sleep fuddled embrace
and kiss,
just to say i love you,
i appreciated that,
it is nice to know
at any time

fog
a thick rope about my neck
tethered me to harbor wall
goat to oceans sacrifice,
behind obscured
lights and windows of those
who do not feel this way,
having taken the bus
found myself here,
bagged empty bottle
at my feet,
if any cigarette’s remained
i would of lit one
tasted toasted tobacco
tongue on teeth
chin to chest,
dark swirl foam
nymphs invite embrace
no fear in my heart
not the the fear i had felt
before she touched
fingertips before stepping
out of the door
with him,
closed my eyes wished to fall
forward and accept that
deep fate,
yet i flew
leaving behind the wall
and those if they had looked
would of observed
me leaving

World Poetry Day 2014

Big Ass Spider (2013) Poster

Once upon a time i was a teenager looking for thrills and went to an old cinema called The Phoenix and saw my first grown up horror film Prophecy (1979) , that was a let down a toxic mutant hairless teddy bear well i laughed my way through it, i am sad as it was a John Frankenheimer film and i guess expected more after the likes of French Connection II and Birdman of Alcatraz so i was searching for more creature features Jaws (1975) was excellent and well crafted , but here i could digress into Frogs, Night Of The Lepus etc.
On the social legend that is Twitter i heard of a film mysterious and interesting about spiders not your Arachnaphobia kind but big, bigger , biggest and had an ass as well

what a shocker so i discovered Big Ass Spider , Gregory Gieras not a screenwriter i am familiar with had written this tale would it outrun Sharknado i had to find out, alas no cinema near me carried it but i got my hands on it as a DVD with an amazing hologram cover i was ecstatic to say the least.

The story line could of been overwrought and contrived no it was not, it had drama , danger and humor a casserole of scary delight awaited me Mike Mendez delivered the action swiftly and without troubling it with excess fat , trimmed meat like human prey broiled to perfection

So this spider i hear you say what is so bad about it well Alex Mathis bug hunter  was a bit afraid but he has not said on his twitter feed, Greg Grunberg does not have a dirty white vest or a bandana , he has goggles safety ones at that, and of course his side kick Lombardo Boyar is Jose Ramos and more dashing than Zorro, and of course there is a girl Carly Kramer as Lieutenant Carly Brant she is military grade kick ass with a soft spot for bug men, so now you see and will see when you watch the terror become unleashed.

20140317_211641our  heroes are swashbuckling and almost confident as they pursue the great terror and you get very attached ordinary guys in an extraordinary situation so buckle up with them and enjoy this ride.

This film joins the ranks of amazing and i will be watching again maybe another Big Ass will appear so rent, buy , VOD or watch when it comes to SyFy  and i wish you Happy Viewing20140317_205349 20140317_211838

tribal myths
of urban erosion,
human decay and devalue
enlightenment forbidden
left to the poet of society

paint flakes
as fingernail connects
a worried sore of what
is left behind

concrete and brick convey stories
only as far as we allow them,
corridor routes to many rooms
as with memories

how can this be a composition
construct of words and thoughts
when it rambles
on moth wings
escape can be a broken window

table and chairs
foam guts spewed
he had broken vows faith trust
here eager in his own involvement
thought theory and contradicts

bruised face spittle dampened
punished and beaten
because of an instinct survival brings
hungering lust
to nest burrow forget

she was resolute
evaded and survived
he had been
twisted by triggers of pain
another room
dabbing spittle off his chin
lifting spoon to weak lips

as with muscular distress
he watched her consume passion
with one who cared
his brutality had brought him
to this

left to collapsing rooms
becoming fabric of the dust
a horror myth
of haunting and fear
for others not her

moth had found a window
grease streaked broken
jagged edges did not connect
with fragile wings
bruises heal
fading as time can
