Civil Disobedience

Martin Lewis , money saving expert stated that food shortages lead to civil disobedience, and how ironic as seen by my last post is that the food riots of 1799, 1800, 1801, occurred under a Tory Prime Minister the Duke of Portland already rich and lived beyond his means , there was war with Napoleon and he believed in high taxation and coercion of the poor, this sounds all too familiar and it saddens me that nothing in history is learned from , the Tories especially , they govern in the elitist trickle down way that assists no one or lift them from a governmental enforced poverty, Boris Johnson deflects as a jolly gentleman , which he is definitely not , nor is any Tory there disregard for pandemic rules , in fact any rules Rishi Sunak wife a non dom and when he became chancellor still had a free card as a United States citizen and his wife citizen of India long distance love I guess , I say these things as my opinion and how I measure the temperature of society as a poor ordinary working class man trying so hard to fight for his family like so many others and those even more worse off who struggle to keep warm or feed or even clothe themselves .

I love my country but it’s destructive political and monarchy class system that means only the rich survive

It is so wrong …….

Margaret Thatcher

In death she divides us again , but more importantly the fissures that have chronically remained since have reopened her policies under scrutiny, i saw the fall of Unions the propelling into a war that was only for populism, industry sold and collapsed Mines, Docks every sector experienced the force of her nature unbending unwilling , destroying the mines destroyed community and society fragmented drifters pushed into other towns having to learn new skills to survive for less pay while on the other hand the rich never had it so good bonuses and million pound paychecks, business leaders enjoying the might of unions collapse so they could apply work conditions without challenge, i would not celebrate anyone’s death but her legacy is a poor one that shows so truly now, foreign policy Pinochet and Khmer Rouge she made allies and friends of leaders would not tolerate today but unopposed or weakly so she ploughed on.

That is all i am going to say as i needed to say it i saw poverty the collapse of a lot of industry at her hands but what is done should not be perpetuated the Government today should listen us the 99% we work and toil to earn minimum wage so that million £ bonuses can be paid, time to change think hard about the countries future and make a wise choice your life depends on it

Bring Back the Then and Now

dollar bills ground fine

blowing grit into my eyes,

watering not out of discomfort

but sorrow,

as the green has paled

transparent and valueless,

existing as a memory

on magnetic strips,

worn by careless touch,

a presidents hand

is not divine enough to revive,

taxing shocks ripple the heart,

but now eyeing the wilderness

of vacant strip malls

and realtor bunted houses,

the burden heavier than sorrow

breaks the wage mule back,

sat roadside aimless

flickers of eyes do not register,

tomorrow comes,

and another one,

every journey has an end

yet this one i cannot see

just yet
